Not too long ago, we showed you how you could use AI tools like Midjourney and Dall-E in the creator industry. Over the past weeks, another new tool made waves on social media: ChatGPT.
So, today we want to further stimulate your imagination by showing you how you can further increase your content creation output in 2023 with new Text-to-Text tools.
What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) that uses a technique called a transformer model to generate natural language text. Originally, it was designed to have conversations with humans in a way similar to how a person would talk. In conclusion, ChatGPT is a sophisticated chatbot that uses AI technology to produce responses in a way that mimics human conversation.
Tools like ChatGPT can be used for a variety of other tasks. Such as content creation, copywriting, and social media management. Due to this, businesses can save time and resources on these tasks, allowing them to focus on more strategic work
Its training data reaches up until 2021 and has several limitations, so it’s important to say that you should not take anything for granted. So please note that, right now, ChatGPT can merely serve as an inspiration, never as a source of truth.
This is how it looks:
Main benefits
Creation of written content
One way that ChatGPT can help companies is by automating the creation of written content. With it, marketers and copywriters can input keywords or ideas, and the AI will generate a full-length article or blog post. Hence save a significant amount of time and effort, as it eliminates the need for extensive research and writing.

Idea gathering
Besides direct content creation, you can use ChatGPT to streamline your idea generation. All you have to do is provide it with some initial input, such as a topic or theme. The generated text can be a starting point for creating original content. For example, if you provide ChatGPT with the input “content ideas on healthy eating,” it might generate suggestions such as “10 delicious and healthy lunch ideas.” These suggestions can be used as the basis for creating engaging content that will resonate with your audience.
In fact you can do it a hundred times in a few minutes.
ChatGPT Example:
Let’s pretend that you are a marketer specializing in social media marketing for small businesses and looking for new content ideas. Therefore you could provide ChatGPT with information about your target audience and throw in keywords like “social media,” “small business,” and “marketing strategy.” Based on your input, the AI is able to generate ideas like:
E-mail Marketing
Another field in which the tool can achieve good results and thus relieve you of a lot of work is email marketing. For example, ChatGPT could be used to generate optimized email subject lines or meta descriptions, helping to improve the visibility and performance of marketing campaigns. But also, whole emails can be created with the tool within minutes. Or you can write the template yourself and optimize the overall voice and tone in ChatGPT.
ChatGPT Example:
As you can see, these examples are often not directly applicable. However, they give you a template for structure or even whole sentences that can be helpful.
Copywriting
Further, ChatGPT can also be used for ad copywriting or caption copywriting. It can generate compelling ad copy by inputting information about a product or service. As much as tailoring it to your target audience. This can help marketing agencies create more effective ads, which can lead to better results for you or your clients. In addition, ChatGPT can generate multiple variations of ad copy. This way, you can easily test and compare different versions to see which performs best.
ChatGPT Example:
Additional assistance
Community management
In addition to content creation and ad copywriting, ChatGPT can assist with social media management. By using ChatGPT to handle these tasks, marketing agencies can ensure that their social media presence remains active and engaging without sacrificing valuable time and resources. Hence the AI model can generate responses to comments, freeing up time for the communication team to focus on other tasks.
And if you look closely, you will realize that this was actually the purpose of ChatGPT in the first place: being able to have a “human-like” dialog with an AI/Chatbot.
Minor translation tasks
Although ChatGPT says that it is not capable of direct translations from one language to another, you can certainly use the AI to translate words or phrases into another language. However, since the AI is not designed for this and there are already better free alternatives on the market, this function is a nice side effect that you can keep in mind.
Generate Computer Code
Furthermore, one particularly impressive use case for ChatGPT is code generation. You can ask the system to give you a piece of code for any kind of app in (almost) any programming language, and it will try to come up with something. While these code snippets are not always useable in practice, they definitely can serve as inspiration or a source for optimization.

Looking into the future
The use of AI tools like ChatGPT can help companies by making content creation and communication faster and easier. However, like any AI tool, you have to learn how to use it and when to use it. Although AI technology is still developing, by getting started right now you can seize the opportunity to grow with it. We believe that knowing how to use AI tools the right way will be as important as knowing how to use Google Search.
If you need some more inspiration about what types of texts you should enter, here is a great resource of possible prompts.
Finally, we want to leave you with some more results to inspire your own imagination…

Writing essays
Look, if everyone is worried about students cheating on essays for AI, instructors can just cheat right back.
I asked OpenAI to give me an essay question & make a rubric for grading. I had GPT-3 actually write the essay.
I then had the OpenAI grade the essay & give comments.
